Sometimes finding your purpose can be an extremely long wait. You think you found it, but then another opportunity presents itself and you decide to pursue it. You try it out for a while and realize that it wasn’t what you thought it would be. You move on to the next thing, and the thing after that until you feel like just giving up. You feel worthless. 20 jobs later and you are still purposeless. You start doubting yourself. You wonder why you’re even here. Sometimes hitting an ultimate low, is really hitting it big. It provides you with a drive and motivation that you so desperately need. Maybe you start working with a friend doing construction or landscaping projects. Maybe one of your chick friends asks you for some help with flipping houses. Maybe you do some odds and ends that give you experience in areas you weren’t familiar with. Opportunities do not always present themselves. Sometimes you have to seek them out. It never fails that good things happen when least expected. Giving up should never be an option. Look for something more. Go out on a limb and try something different. Focusing on yourself is always the best decision. Making yourself happy needs to be your first priority. Sometimes it takes a really long time, but it will happen for you. Life isn’t supposed to be predictable because if it was it would definitely not be an exciting place. Be patient. Be confident. Learn all of lifes lessons and master them.

  1. I have always thought of life as a book with chapters. You can’t really get to chapter 5 without chapters 1, 2, 3 and 4. The next step evolves into the next. There is often a theme that runs through each chapter but in many books it is only after you get deeply into it that you begin to fully comprehend the “purpose” of this life! Patience my child… 🙂 Know what is of value to you, then let it grow and develop in God’s own time until that Purpose reveals itself.
